Of war and love.

Why does no one do a masters paper of how planning a wedding is not unlike going to war? 1)There are landmines everywhere, no one tells you where they are, you just have to tread lightly and be careful not to step on anyone’s tails. 2)Pick a good date, catch the enemies unaware and blow their minds off with lots of alcohol in my case. 3) Day warfare or night warfare? Both has it’s pros and cons and you have to plan each with different directions. 4) Scouting work galore! Hunting for venues and hotel ballrooms are my activities du jour. 5) Going to war and planning a wedding both cost a lot of money, sometimes equalling the GDP of a small country in pacific oceans. Budgeting is hell, but I’m sure a large part of both war and wedding funds are funnelled to buying a lot of alcohol to keep people smiling.

Anyways on a seperate note, sims 3 is super fun. Who needs a big wedding when you can just exchange rings in the comfort of the plush toilet at home dressed in your undies?

  1. my experience is to scrimp on the wedding and splurge on the honeymoon — much easier to plan and execute
